In the Arcade original the "ms. pac-man" runs at x2 (two times speed) continuously. This is a known bug that the MAME emulator v0.78 for this ROM speed up the "ms. pac-man"at 2x speed (the correct speed) at times and also at x4 (four times) speed. The rules was incorrectly specified due to lack of knowledge. Other versions of the Wolfmame emulator for this ROM speed up the "ms. pac-man" at 2x speed (the correct speed) and sometimes at x4 (four times) speed. To workaround the incorrect emulation of the "ms. pac-man" speed you have to re-map the 2nd player navigation UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT keys. Map any key such that the "LEFT" key is close to the left hand pinky or ring finger. While navigating with the two hands using the two hands' middle fingers and index fingers, press down the LEFT key of the second player to boost the "ms. pac-man" speed to x2 as emulated in the Arcade. If the "ms. pac-man" runs at x2 speed just release the turbo boost "LEFT" key to run at x2 (two times speed) continuously, otherwise the "turbo boost" button will emulate the "ms. pac-man" to run at 4x (four times) speed. Only press the speedup x2 button if the "ms. pac-man" speed is normal speed. Due to the timer constraint "ms. pac-man" cannot complete the boards running at normal speed.
