The player must start a fresh game with both counters not showing anything (they start as blank). Play ends when the shot counter rolls to 00 (after 100 shots). The score is taken at this point from the hit counter.

Note: the lower-right counter is the number of shots fired and the lower-left counter is the number of hits made. After a restart, they will only appear when they have a value to show: the right counter remains blank until the first shot is fired and the left counter remains blank until the first hit is made.
