[QUOTE=gavv;993185]On Atariage, theres a discussion about a glitch in space armada that allows for big scores, includes a shot where it confirms that the score can hold at least 8 digits (score was like 31M+) .
It can actually hold 9 digits. I scored 107 million last Summer (2019).... :-)
Awesome score Rickster!

This variation is for both NTSC and PAL as there is no difference between the two on the Intellivision Video Game Console.
Starting mode is PLAYERS CHOICE. (please see additional Info for more detail)
Rules reverted on 29, Jan 2020
This competitive track was created prior to April 2014 and the original ruleset that was specified for the game to be played with was either not fully clarified or loosely interpreted and defined as general "default" settings.
"Default" settings were in relation to the mode setting the player should choose to compete with - however it has become unclear as to which mode setting "default" may have specifically been in reference to - as there is no specific "default" mode setting for this game.
As a result of this rule definition ambiguity, this leaderboard may contain historic score entries that were achieved under varying mode settings, all of which were individually and separately believed to be "default" at the time of each specific performance adjudication.
In order to provide clarity around what mode should be chosen to compete on this track, and to keep this leaderboard competitively fair with historic score entries, the starting mode for all submissions to this track is now defined as "player's choice."
**SPECIAL NOTE; While it is not a requirement, Twin Galaxies now asks that if you submit a performance to this track, you please include in your performance submission description what starting mode you chose so other competitors can know more detail about your achievement.**
