I take my hat of the to 1st place. My 7.2 million point combo was a a creature to beat. So glad I held 1st place for so long beating all other cobos on the game for so long before it was beaten. Hard to believe I had the highest scoring combo at one point but still 20yrs later it is t. 2nd highest thps2 combo ever. Verified. Super
Nice job on the 7.2 mil! I remember the write up. It stung a bit because they actually called me and congratulated me for having the winning combo. But I was always curious about where you busted out the 1080. I found a 1080 to a grind but it was extremely hard to do so I went with I already knew, a 900 Pogo Air to a long grind for a HUGE base score.
Here's the sad but true story about my submission for the combo contest. That 8 mil score I have on the list was my entry for the tournament. They DQd my Hangar combo AND my Hangar 2 minute run. They said I cheated but couldn't tell me where or how. I wanted to show that the judges were full of crap and submitted the same combo to a different set of refs at a later date and it's now the #1 combo on the list. They took $1250 from me. I feel they just didn't want me to win 8 of the 9 prizes. I still got 6 of 9 for $900.
