francoisadt commented on blog entry A very long writeup in datagod
Very good write-up by @ersatz_cats on reddit. At least TG has taken a positive step forward.I think that speedrunning community rather get their house in order and implemement proper TGSAP type process in place than to point a finger to TG. At least Jace has done something by implement a TGSAP process

ok i think this game is so excrutiagly boring it should probably only be tracked on hardest difficulty. however, to make the point how impossible score is at difficulty 3 i also wanna track on difficulty 2 where we can compete and have real numbers so people can just how ridiculous the current score

I've always seen the Twin Galaxies Tournement Settings (TGTS) as settings the differ from the default settings of the game?

I'm testing this literally as we speak on an older flat screen. It's a simple video setting I can change. Just for clarity as to what I am doing. I have an NTSC version of TW2003. I have played the game both on the NTSC setting and PAL setting. I can not notice a difference at all. I have a

A muppet is a muppet and there isn't a race involved at all. How come he didn't play the race card when I posted tons of muppets on his blog?
Why did he even start posting again? Things were at least somewhat decent without his constant mockery and asinine comments leaving skidmarks all

So I'm just going to test this out. I'm going to find a PAL version and NTSC version of a game and see if they play. If they do, I'll see if they play differently. Easiest way to test it.

Marble Madness on SMS says TGTS, but does not specifically call out lives. Still confused on that one.

And TBH, I don't play Gamecube, so I really don't ever look at Gamecube subs, lol, tho I like Matthew just fine, so I have no idea on that!:)

If you are playing a console that is A/V or more modern than that, most modern NTSC flatscreens can interpret the PAL signal. Many of them actually display the change onscreen(mine doesn't).If you are trying to play Atari 2600, that's when you really run into a booger.I believe there are also

How does @starcrysta do it for his Gamecube subs? Is the Wii region free and it's just the game? I don't have idea, not calling anybody out, just trying learn how this is done. I believe he has done both PAL and NTSC, wasn't sure if it's a part of the mod on the Wii (which is what my

But straight-up-I'd be totally against a mod that let one switch a system from NTSC to PAL, and vice versa, too much room for error, and also you really do need to go to "the trouble" to play cross region, IMO.
