PS2 Latest Addition to my Collection

Thanks to my Brother-In-Law, I now own a PS2 again.. actually 2. He tried to sell this lot to his local GameSpot but they barely offered him anything.. think he said $30 or in that ballpark. I know these aren't rare, just glad to add these to my collection and hopefully play a few of these for some TG scores.

    Nice!

I love classic the most, i.e., pixel graphics, but to me the PS2 was the first system that made home gaming really "look real", at times, is definitely a must have!

Get w/ya soon on the C64/7800 stuff we talked about-waiting on my cards(still...), wanna send one along if possible.

Nice Job, keeping someone from getting completely screwed-

I have a HUGE set of Sonor Double Bass drums-I can play almost any instrument ever created, lol, except the drums.

Was working as an in-home nurse, heard the client's Father working on a deal to sell them and knew he was getting screwed, bad, he was in a financial spot and needed anything he could get-I didn't need the drums, but being a musician it wasn't a bad idea to have a set, and on account of that job I was rolling in $(16 hr days, 5 days a week...), so I peeked my head out of the door of my client's room and "waved him off", basically a nonverbal "DON'T!".

Offered him more than he was going to take(50% more, actually), and still felt guilty at how cheaply I had gotten the set of drums.

Something I regularly tried to instill in my children is how the value of something is a perspective thing. One time my son wanted the latest Pokemon game and was prepared to sell his older games for it so I highlighted that there were already many copies of the older game in the store and I didn't want the game so wouldn't pay him enough for the old game to buy the new one - highlighting that he'd have some money but no Pokemon game at all. He kept the old game and saved up for the new one. :) Alas, now he covets my collection and discusses what will happen when I die. Hmmm.. not how I planned that conversation to develop over the years. :P

teach him about farming next and how you want to raise the animal nice and healthy and fatten it up first. at least then he'll want you great health and succes for years to come so that when you die the inheritance will be all the sweeter :)

Well, he's the dad now & is a little too occupied to have a father-son talk with me. ;)

Nice set, the original Tomb Raiders and all. The 007 Nightfire is a blast to play with friends on multiplayer.
