How to solve the submission que problem?

1. Close it down the submission video game que, start from the oldest, until you get it down to 100, there are 1073 video game submissions presently. And do it every 3 to 6 months to clean out the submission que.note they can still video record their games.

2. Limit how many video game submissions a TG member can submit per month, 25 to 50

3. See how many Twin Galaxy members video game submissions are being voted in Yes Accepted by each member and who is in the Top 10 versus members who have a hard time getting their approved, so as to be fair to all TG members and hear them out. See how many are being voted in per month.

4. See what Platforms and games are being voted the most and Voted in by Twin Galaxy Members.

5. See what video game platforms need more work like SPEED RUN video game submissions.

6. See what Twin Galaxy members think on improving. Maybe knowing how many votes are needed for each video game submission,%,amount

My instincts around how to address this:

    1) Reverse the default sort order for the queue - put the oldest/longest without a comment/etc submissions on the first page, to keep attention on them.

    2) Add the ability for users to define a set of platforms/games/etc to filter on as a default view. People can then quickly see the submissions for the platforms they know best.

    3) Dynamic submission pricing - point cost goes up depending on some factor involving the size of the queue, number of submissions the current user has, and the ages of what's in the queue. Adjustments to that can encourage specific behaviors.

    4) Reduce how much voting power is necessary to approve submissions - would work really only if we coordinate that with an easier process to dispute TGSAP scores.

heir be some favoritism to certain TG members usually the the top 20 who will be able get theirs adjudicated faster their would be no change

Lets see who are the the Top 20 Twin Galaxy members who get the most video game submissions adjudicated the most in one week to a month.

JJT, seriously you have a HUGE credibility. Your votes count. Your vote alone will likely tip the balance of many games. I hope you keep adjudicating.

Also, I look forward to meeting you again. In person we can hug it out and become great friends.

    God Bless.

I love gibgirls points 2&3 and on the off chance admins are allowing popularity of suggestion to matter, add my vote to those points.

I already have number 2 on the "feature suggestions" page on the wiki, and it's at least on the bug/suggestion list that Jace and crew are working off of. I'm hoping that it makes the cut of things to get implemented in the near future.

    7. How about the community stop making minuscule tracks, like on angry birds with every 20sec levels, stop making tracks with easy, medium, hard settings for each. Unconrolled track creation is clogging the sub cue along with watering down the scoreboard.

Just so you can get that World record count number as high and fast as possible!!!

i cant agree with outlawing any track, but i could definitely see slowing them. This is why free derivates exist, but in retrospect i'm not so sure free deriviates were such a good idea. in addition to abuse with clever wording so that things that really arent derivates are classified as them, even the proper use like angry birds just makes too many tracks to easily. i get it would suck if people had to found every single angry bird track individually, but maybe it should suck, maybe it should be really hard to add those clutterers

tl;dr: i cant agree without "stopping" but i do agree with slowing.
