Can any TG member tell the differences from 8 difficulty game settings for Black Tiger/Black Dragon?

Question to any TG member who are experts or good at the arcade game on either Black Dragon japanese/Black Tiger the american versions. 1.) Can any Twin Galaxy member tell us the differences from 8 difficulty settings by explaining in detail the factual differences from each of the 8 difficulty game settings?

I played both Black Dragon and Black Tiger and know the game really well. It has been years since I played But to determine which of 8 difficulty settings were set to and describe the differences to ascertain the exact difficulty is ludicrous & is impossible.

A perfect example the Arcade game Street Fighter 2 series of fighting games difficulty 1 through 8 the differences are huge from 1 easiest difficulty setting to what Twin Galaxy difficulty 8 being the hardest.

Your talking about 8 difficulty settings not 2 or 3,the scoring rate is different, the enemies change , the speed of the game & enemies/objects etc. and their shots are quicker more in abundance coming at you.

A perfect example the Arcade game Street Fighter 2 series of fighting games difficulty 1 through 8 the differences are huge from 1 easiest difficulty setting to what Twin Galaxy difficulty 8 being the hardest.

This not Donkey Kong,Donkey Kong jr. the bonus man difference or Galaga slow or fast shots,

Pete Hahn is great video game player, I adjudicated many of his games, and voted yes accepted, on his submissions

Pete Hahn admitted that he could not get permission from Funspot arcade to see the TG dip Switch game settings from the arcade game Black Dragon, but said their were many well known classic arcade players their watching he has a capture picture and people talking to him on the video game submission.

Still that does prove that Pete Hahn actually played on TG difficulty settings. But then players will argue that Triforce did not have a game video of his accomplishment but was approved by a TG referee.

Here is idea just delete both scores. problem solved but do it by TGSAP rules with recording of Dip switch game settings

Now you are asking TG members to accept vote yes by a group great classic game players saying he did do it on TG difficulty game settings for the fighting game Black Dragon that is hearsay.

What is a fact that Pete Hahn did in fact play & scored Arcade - Black Dragon - Points - 2,641,500 - Pete Hahn
Which would be a WR

1a. The real question is, was the dip switch game settings in accordance to Twin Galaxy Rules for Black Dragon?

Pete Hahn is a awesome expert game player on many video games, his game play is not in question or his full 1 credit game completions on many video game titles,

2a. The main thing is, was it done on the TG rule dip switch game difficulty game settings.

Note there are 8 difficulty game settings, mind you.

Pete Hahn has proven, time & time again setting WR & completing many video games on 1 credit.

Twin Galaxy Rules the arcade game Black Dragon
Dip-Switch Bank A:
1-8 = OFF
Dip-Switch Bank B:
1-4 = OFF
5 = ON
6-7 = OFF
8 = ON/OFF [Upright/Cocktail]

Note: The above Dip Switches, are not only the FACTORY DEFAULT settings, but are also the correct Twin Galaxies Tournament Settings for this title and will provide the following settings: Lives: 3
Difficulty Level: Factory is #3 (also called Easy #2)

Played 11/26/2019 at FunSpot, on the famous hybrid Black Tiger/Dragon board. Although I had no way to access the PCB / dips, hopefully the fact that the current top score was done by Triforce on the same machine is enough for this submission to pass adjudication.

So what you're saying is even if you saw the dips you wouldn't know what settings they are? Good to know.

Took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to tell the difficulties on Black Tiger not Black Dragon. As I only have a Black Tiger PCB. But I can easily see the difference between all 8 difficulties. So the answer is YES, I can tell the difference.

BTW, he played on the correct settings.

The games Pete Hahn played, were within 2 weeks of each other on the arcade game 2 versions the Japanese Black Dragon 2,641,500 and American Black Tiger 1,599,350.

As Twin Galaxy members can see the difference of Black Tiger & Black dragon is huge by more than a million points to be exact 1,042,150

In my opinion their is a strong possibility that Japanese version Black Dragon at Funspot is set incorrectly from Twin Galaxy rules dip switch game settings more than likely the easiest setting of the 8 difficulty dip switch game settings -> Dip switch B

Funspot Black Dragon set to Easy Sw 3 = OFF , Sw 4 = OFF, Sw 5 = OFF which is the easiest game setting. That explain the huge scoring difference in Pete Hahn scores

    Dip switch B

    1. Easy Sw 3 = OFF , Sw 4 = OFF, Sw 5 = OFF

    2. Easy 1 Sw 3 = ON, Sw 4 = ON, Sw 5 = OFF

    3. Easy 2 Sw 3 = OFF, Sw 4 = ON, Sw 5 = OFF

    4. Easy 3 Sw 3 = ON, Sw 4 = OFF, Sw 5 = OFF

    5. Normal Sw 3 = OFF , Sw 4 = OFF , Sw 5 = ON

    6. Difficult Sw 3 = ON , Sw 4 = OFF, Sw 5 = ON

    7. Difficult 2 Sw 3 = OFF, Sw 4 = ON Sw 5 = ON

    8. Very difficult Sw 3 = ON, Sw 4 =ON, Sw 5 = ON

Dude seriously.... there is no need to screenshot the leaderboard. I know what you are talking about. There is also no need to screenshot the settings because again I know what you are talking about. No need to screenshot the submission page either cause I know you are talking about Pete's score. So one last time... CAN YOU PLEASE STOP WITH THIS NONSENSE? SERIOUSLY!?!? Get a clue man. If you aren't comfortable adjudicating something then dont. Just leave it be. There is absolutely no reason to start making demands on submissions when you clearly have no clue. Just stop.

And people have already answered your questions about the settings multiple times. Either you are choosing to ignore the answers or you can't comprehend the answers. Either way just stay clear from the submission since you clearly have no understanding on how the gameplay determines the setting the player is playing on. Just move on.
