Hi...thanks for the creations...I will post my highest scoring weapons van glitch video there. Admittedly, I was not really playing for score, just to see how that bug worked and what it did for game play.

I am trying to upload my 1.239 mil score in the non-bug standup track you made....it is taking forever!

Ok so here are the problems as I see them with these tracks that have been unilaterally created:

    1. "A shooting and racing game" and "a racing shooting game" are insufficient track descriptions. They are fantastically similar and painfully lacking in coherence.

    2. One track allows glitches but neither one says so and neither say what's being tracked. Is it a points track? A timed track? An achievement count of some kind? We will never know.

    2. One of these tracks is a duplicate of the existing TG arcade track. Why create it? Duplicates are forbidden. Period.

All that being said - Mr Kinkead - how did you know what value to enter when submitting to Mr Torres' track? It never says what's being tracked. I'd figure you assumed it was a Points track but there's no way to tell. Any and all submissions to this track must be rejected on the grounds that the track does not coherently specify what is to be adjudicated.

    For Ben Sweeney

    A. It does say in TG rules players are allowed to use the bug/glitch -bugs /glitches would be better.

    B. The description could be changed from racing shooting to spy shooting chasing scoring game.

    C. For Scoring I JJT selected INTEGER.

    D. For Ranking I JJT selected HIGHEST.

    E. What rules are needed and recommendations to this track to make this acceptable Ben Sweeney?

And any TG members input are more than welcome to reply.

    F. Let it be noted that in the Twin Galaxies Scoreboard Database archives there video games were created that allowed Game Genie to be used SMB, Leeching,Cheat codes, Blindfold, Holding a dog to play, leveling up Tempest, patterns that allowed huge score etc.

    Twin Galaxies rules

    Spy Hunter stand up

    Twin Galaxies Rules

    1. Players are allowed to use the bug/ glitch

This is a explanation of the bug/glitch :

This should have been put into Additional information 1a. Specifically, it is possible to get the game into a state where the difficulty no longer increases and you no longer see torpedo boats or enforcers.

The bug can be triggered by "jumping" a broken bridge by getting out of a weapons van and riding on the right over the broken bridge when an enforcer is on the bridge or nearby.

    2. A complete video game recording is required and uploaded to Twin Galaxies

All this below is all good

    Switch No.1 @ 30,000 Points

Extra Base Awarded Every 30,000 Points Up To A Maximum Of 3

Note: The above Dip Switches, are not only the FACTORY DEFAULT settings, but are also the correct Twin Galaxies Tournament Settings for this title.

Hi...just saw this. One appeared to me to be the classic TG set-up but for the stand up game (which would disqualify the weapons van glitch because it modifies the game difficulty)...the other said at the bottom that glitches/bugs were acceptable. I am not sure that the point values would matter in the second game because the bugs can be used. But feel free to discuss and refine the threads' parameters.

i and others (including jjt) offered to make you a track for this. In my opinoin your wants are paramount here over the normal technicaliites we all argue over. if you are satisfied with the tracks jjt made for you, i'll see myself out of the potential drama and wish you the best. If however you are unhappy with the wording, my earlier offer still stands. Write rules that you find more appropriate and i'll set up the tracck for you.

I wanted to see how high of a score a player can achieve by using the bugs and glitches on this game and can a player break 10 million points on Spy Hunter stand up arcade game.

Twin Galaxies should separate the TG referee records from TGSAP records.

To see the differences more clearly in the ranking format the scoring, times, distance excetra between TGSAP and Referee records.

And it would be more easier for current TG members to check for Disputing questionable video records from the referee TG times.

This is all way simpler than you're making it.

Simple - the description should be "Points (Glitches Allowed)" or "Points (No Glitches Allowed)" so people can actually see what is being tracked (high score vs. completion time etc) and can see at a glance without having to review the rules to see what's being tracked with respect to the glitches and such. Also, one of these is the same ruleset as the existing TG Arcade track, so one is a duplicate of something that's already in the database. I don't think it matters if it already has scores on it or not. You created a duplicate track on Arcade platform but it got by because you named the game "Spy Hunter stand up" instead of "Spy Hunter" which is the existing game in the system.

This idea that a separate track makes things "easier" between Ref records and TGSAP records is truly 100% backwards. Keep them all together so they can be compared. No reason to create a new track just so TGSAP records can stand alone on it. Plus, if people are just looking at the new track they won't even see the records from the Ref era. How could they dispute them more easily, or see disputes more easily, if they are on a separate track altogether? It's the opposite of what you're saying.

I am officially unsubscribing from this thread. I don't want to get roped into an endless discussion about what you were intending to do. I get what you were intending to do, but you should've just created a track that allowed glitches and basically copied word-for-word what all the track parameters were of the existing track are, except change the Description to include "Glitches Allowed" and remove the part in the rules about glitches being disallowed. Also help has been offered on creating new track(s). The wall post where you asked about what the rules would be doesn't cover the issues right here - that there's a track duplication, a misrepresented game title, and a lack of proper track description.

    Good luck to you.
