Yes. Native system introduced by the manufacturer.

Super Gameboy is on Super Nintendo Entertainment System

Gameboy Player is on Nintendo GameCube.

Yes, but your scores will probably be better if you just use a GameCube to play GameCube games. I don't know anyone thats a fan of the wii controller, and it does make a difference. Just look at the huge difference in my digdug scores between the wii and every other platform for an example. Dont get me wrong, you can use the wii to sub gc scores and be very successful at it, but you'll have a much more enjoyable experience on the original hardware

Are you aware of the "classic controller" for the Wii? Plugs into the Wiimote for a more natural gaming experience: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classic_Controller

Or you can plug in a gamecube controller into one of these ports if you got a older Wii.

Holy sh...the seams are so tight, I'd have never found that door without a picture. Thank you sroka. Now I might be able to play some wii without a stream of profanity that makes my dogs think I've completely lost it. Cannot believe I've had that system almost 3 years, and I had no idea that was there. Seriously, thank you man.

Another thing to consider is the Boss controller adapter. It's a lot easier to use than the Wiimote alone.

As far as I know, If you insert a gamecube disc into the Wii, the system only lets you play with a gamecube controller, you cannot use a Wii controller, it doesn't even respond.

If you use a modded Wii and use the software Dios Mios to load the game, you can't use the Wii mote either, you need a GC controller as well. But if you use the software Nintendont, then you can use the Wii mote to play the gamecube game.

man if you're serious, I might be able to find you one. With the sensor bar , power cord, and a nunchuk they're usually about 50 around here, but if you're willing to wait, you can occasionally find them on fb marketplace for 30. Thats the only reason I was able to get mine.

They are great and you can play lots of classic games on it. I own 4 I think, 2 whites, 1 black and 1 red, I'm missing the blue one but that one is hard to get.
