The King !!

When I put my score up, I thought nobody would beat it, as it's a real tough game. Then two people beat it in the "Beat Kernzy for $100" bounty, and now Marco has DOUBLED it!!
I'm very impressed, dude. Amazing you stuck at it this far. I'm not even going to try, anymore. You belittled me! ;)

    A few corrections:


    It was a two-tiered bounty: Beat 75K for $75 USD and beat my then-PB of 102660 for $100 USD. You and I were the only ones to record runs of over 70K on C64 Ms. Pac-Man at the time the bounty was announced. I also wanted to show everyone that Blinky does steroids because his speed is unmatched. Here's the bounty thread (though the Pastebin link is long expired):

    S.BAZ & Francoisadt claimed the bounties but did not submit anywhere as they are true mercenaries.


    One final note: The post by Francois from April 5 detailing the levels is a good read. In fact, I reached Level 22 starting from the Banana level and experienced moving at 50% speed. Here's a short video:

    Marco, I strongly suggest trying on Ms. Pac-Man arcade/MAME. It's easier than C64, and you can kick my arse there as well!!
    Skills transfer. It's nice!

    Here my comment on your new record:

    - Unfortunate keyboard errors at 49K and 125K - lost lives here when you on the point of turning at a corner

    - Fantastic escape at 155000 and nice clearing of that chase board

    - Great grouping in your fast chase boards

    - set the bar for the next person trying get close to your WR score

    Hello, @francoisadt ! Thank you for your kind words and praise. Here are my responses to your comments:


    - Yes, first two lives were controller-related

    - I have learned to lure Blinky to the top of the screen as he will take a longer route to the bottom. That allows for an extra second or two, and it helped at 155000.

    - The grouping on the fast chase boards has helped with maximizing my score; I have become more aggressive with eating the extra ghost
