Rudy was my Friend. He wasn't always easy to take, but he was my Friend.

I feel horrible for all affected by his actions, but I will miss him.

    :(

    Sad. Sad, sad.

Are we sure it's really him? Lots of people with the same names. I will say I'm pretty sure the age would be accurate. Sad deal if it really is the Rudy we know.

It is tragic that some guys (even girls) have the mentality if I cannot have you then nobody will, or if one party wants to leave the other one do want to allow it...ect... whatever the case is here - condolences to both sides family - both did live and die "young" of age not able enjoy life to the fullest with "extended" family - children or adoption or even just friends to help cope with circumstances..

I wonder what the TG policy is against violent murderers. Will his scores remain on the leaderborad? I hope not.

before you joined i think and not sure if it came up since, tg had quite the debate about banning sex offenders since its offsite activity. it was finally decided sex offenders can be banned but there scores arent stipped. tg cares about score accuracy and being a terrible person doesnt change the fact of the s core

now obviously murder as well as child molesting is wayyyyyy worse than most thing so the whole "where do you draw the line" might not sound like a concern but it is. once we judge people, and not scores, it opens a real can of worms. if we stripped scores of murderers or rapists then you'd have people saying "why dont you strip scores of this racist" "this sexist". again, i understand murder is way worse so you can say "oh come on but these are so different" but even still, do we judge people or not? once we judge even the most obvious things to judge (murder) then we've admitted tg can judge people and not just scores

also, if it makes you feel better, theres actually one thing that makes it no so bad to leave a murderers scores up -- its not like leaving it helps him or remoivng it hurts him. no matter what we do now, he'll never know. so i'm really not worried about "how can you promote that guy" when that guy doesnt know hes being promoted.

If TG's policy is not to judge a person's character, the banning of Rodrigo and the removal of his scores is completely unfair then, because it was never proven that he cheated, he was banned on something like unnaceptable behaviour for an ex referee. And I'm not saying that I dont agree with this being TG's policy, it sounds reasonable, im just pointing out the inconsistency.

And about the removal of Rudy's scores, I wouldn't think that's to punish him cause of course it doesn;t matter now for him. I would like them to be removed because anytime I see his name I would remember the terrible crime he commited. But if TG decides to leave them I don't really care that much.

hmmm, you do have a good point there. yes, banning rodrigo on issues of character did make a can of worms. there are differences with it being ONSITE behavior, and we do ban people for onsite behavior (but not strip scores). we even ban sex offenders for offsite behavior but not strip scores. yes, you're right, the removal of rodrigos scores really mucks with this. kinda of hard to say taunting people is a moral act we'll judge but murder isnt.

I say off site things should be left off site unless it's directly reflecting TG or said about members on TG. Do businesses that fire people for DUI's or criminal offenses return all the money that individual made them before they got fired?? **** no!! I get no longer wanting to be associated with them after the fact, but their time prior to the offense still means something IMO. There is no link between Rudy's actions in this case and his gaming scores. We've all got problems, all done things we shouldn't that would negatively impact us. I don't think ANY person's scores should be removed for off site actions...even child molesters which is IMO the worse crime out there....murderers already in prison seem to agree and that's saying something.

As Snowflake said, where does the judgement stop then? Infidelity is right up there with things I have no tolerance for, but it may not be for others. This whole situation is horrible, but it's not a reflection of TG or Rudy's scores. Mental issues are horrible, and Rudy had outbursts that where so off the wall I'm positive we all think there was something a little off. For those of us who don't have them, we will never understand what that is like, be grateful for that. I say just let his scores be.

i know what you meant kyle, and i agree, but as you literally stated it i do have to disagree on one point. i agree with banning child molestors for offsite activity even if it didnt invovle tg in anyway. this is because their offsite activity could threaten onsite activity. i suppose similiary if someone is known to be violent when not getting their way offsite, you could similiarly ban them on site for saftey concerns since they may get violent if their score is rejected

again, i know what you meant, and i'm not trying to be a jerk about semantics, but as this is all important i wanted to be explict on that point

There are fine lines, everywhere. We judge what is made public.
Serial killers, for example, have their own little league, as do serious pedophiles. Who did the most?
They will remain "legendary" in those sick circles.
But, most peoples wrong doings are secret. How many offenders are really on here, or anywhere?
They just never got caught, yet. So we are all in the dark about it.
I suppose his scores should stay. The best thing to do is beat them all. Prove him wrong. But as mentioned, he will never know.
What people don't realise, is that the poor woman was terrorised by him, leading up to this event. How long for, I don't know.
Victims get terrorised until they can take no more, then a massive event takes place. It happens all the time. It happens to more men than we think, which is why suicide in males is way higher. Sometimes, that man you hear going crazy at home, is the victim of sordid sadistic torment, which only he knows about.
Whatever the gender, they need to be exterminated before they exterminate an innocent. That will never happen, as the police and government ARE them.
They need to be bred out of existence, like a dangerous dog.
Good luck out there, and remember, if someone comes into your life and they seem perfect and amazing, and tell you that you are the same, be warned. This is a "love bombing", and is stage one of serious abuse. Almost impossible to spot.
If so great, why single? They're probably evil. Looks ARE deceiving.
I wish we were taught this at school...
Still wondering why a guy who said he was so fit and strong needs a gun for a lady.

    The narcopath fears two things:
    Losing control.
    Being exposed.

Saying "no" to them, can be a deadly answer.

    Stay safe, get clued up.

I'm the one who brought up the scores topic cause I don't think I care to discuss any other aspect of this situation. I feel very bad for the inocent person that he killed, I couldn't say anything nice about him or feel bad for him.

i can believe i'm gonna be the one asking for less drama, but guys, everyone is gonna handle this differently. we can both think the other persons idea are horribly wrong while at the same time understanding this is a highly unusual case. I'm not gonna be angry or look down on anyone for what i may think is an awful idea, i'll express why i disagree, but really, we're a diverse group of people who only have gaming in common. many of our life philosophies are pretty wildly different and we're gonna have to understand that here

I honestly don't care how anyone chooses to "handle" this. Respect the dead.

Like politics and religion, it should be kept off a gaming site. Period.
