Pinball Arcade Tournament- Day 2 of 7

Full throttle today! Managed to Climb to 5th place so far. Still learning where the most points to be scored on some tables, with the allotted time. (10 minutes flies fast) Tomorrow is NFL Sunday, and the Dallas Cowboys. There will be no PA. (a bye day) ;)

Not much of a point spread from 5th to 2nd, but 1st seems to have a considerable gap. You probably don't want to play the ones you are the worst at, but most people probably won't. You have more room for improvement on those, so a little jump could go a long way towards inching up to at least 2nd place, then battle to catch 1st. You are doing great so far. Good luck!

Thanks...:) Its still early, so I do play them all for now. (best and worse ones) You never know if a weakness can become a surprising strength. Then later on, say 48 hours to go, then yes, it is wise to focus solely on your strengths near the end, as there is a 10 point gap between 1st and 2nd per table, and a 15 point gap between 1st and 3rd. 3rd and onward, its only fractions of points.

The currently ranked 1st place gamer has won the Gold tournament the last prior 3 times in a row. And he has been a consistent top 3 months prior. Looking at all his amazing scores from prior tourneys, he is the gamer to beat.

Where are you maxgrinder? Get on it! :)

@marcamy finding gaming time (or any time really) is currently still brutal on my end but as noted from the past tournament, it's a great format for me having ten minute games. I've put in scores on everything and hope to find at least a bit of time through the week.

I'll take your approach Marc: I'll go for a goal of top ten. As you said above and I know you're very aware, that's unquestionably the big boy bracket. There are some insanely skilled pinball players in that group. Nabbing 1st, 2nd or 3rd on any of the games will be a great accomplishment for either of us.

Bump n nudge Marc. Good luck!
