Heh. Nope. The little woman has absolutely no interest in video gaming streams.

havent had cable for a while. granted i've never been big into tv, much more into video games. but netflix + amazon prime + hulu pretty much gets everything i want., and my wife loves TV and she's also pretty satisfied.

the only thing lacking is game of thrones and walking dead. not gonna lie, those two do matter, but at the same time, when thats the only downside its worth it. just use it as an excuse to visit a friend

Amazon has things likes Dukes of Hazard repeats, Adam Sandler movies, Blues Brothers movies, Smokey and the Bandit, Animal House, Cannonball Run etc. Surely she likes things like that... although those things may or may not be of interest to you. The obvious benefit with Amazon is you probably already have prime.

Amazon does have a bunch of apps covering specific networks and/or interests. Some offer trial periods (or did back a few years ago when I messed around with some of their apps).

Hulu is decent if you like and are used to broadcast TV sitcoms, dramas etc.

Netflix is similar to Amazon, but with a few more older TV shows in their catalog.

Check internet sites too for specific interests, including TV networks. Run anything to your tv via a HDMI cable.

Whatever you do, don't spend more on apps than you did for cable TV.

I do like the 70/80's films/TV shows, but with so many free movie apps on Firestick, Netflix has no more need to me. (Canceled it at year end) .

Otherwise, My Sundays is 100% NFL football during the season. I do lose "NFL network"and "Red Zone" with Hulu or PS Vue, and also my local Vegas Golden Knights games on cable, but that is the sacrifice for saving $60 a month.

You could also add Direct TV Now. It’s $40 a month, but you can use it on your FireStick, phone, iPad, Apple TV, etc. we went from a $220 cable bill down to $120 for internet and TV.

Seldom watch TV here and never heard of this. Thanks for posting it.

Their website reads: base streaming app package - $40 a week for 65 channels of live broadcast TV streaming, no cable, no satellite and no contract required. They also have multiple packages and add ons to fit viewer preference.

And, they're running a 7 day free trial.
