Submitting Score(s)

How often do you think its ok to post a record?

A: Every time you get a new (better) score
B: Every day once
C: Wait for the vote to be over and then post a new score

I'm asking because I could submit a third score for the same game(No sub is accept or declined yet) so I'm curious how the community would react to something like this.

You are free to submit as often as you like. You are using up your own submission points though. If you are constantly improving on a game, I would let the current score be adjudicated and accepted while working on your best. Just keep all evidence and submit your next score.

Don't cancel your other submissions, as there is nothing wrong with them. Let them flow through the system as per normal.

yep as others have said as often as you like. oddly enough, some people complain about the opposite. some people feel if you have a highers score its your duty to submit it right away, and that just sitting on it is "sandbagging". No matter what you do there'll always be at least one person that complains. Some will say you shouldnt submit so much, otherwise will say you shouldnt wait. Some will say you shouldnt beat the person by such a small amount and thats somehow unsporting, others will say beating the person by too much is unnecessary humiliation and unsporting.

the majority though will be reasonable. submit as often or as rarely you like with as high or as low scores as you like

Does it really use up Submission points?

the submission uses the submission point, not the cancel. if people talk about submission points being used up on a cancel they're talking about the submissions points spent submitting that are now wasted thx to the cancel
