Love is over, back to gaming!

Hello guys, so for the last 2 months I havent submitted any scores because I was in a relationship with a young girl and... what a rollecoaster, I'd never seen heaven and hell so close together. I knew from the very beggining the time with her would be short and intense, so I focused on that and I had no time to play videogames. I had great times with her and some awful ones too and now that the ride is over, I will be coming back to gaming and I even have a new profile picture :)

Roger got me interested in F-Zero again and I'll probably be submitting some scores for that game as well as Mario Kart double Dash and Super Pang.

Cheers!

This was in a heavy metal night club in the winter of 1994. I was minding a couple of drinks as my pals went to head-bang, as I found out the hard way, the place was notorious for drink thieves.
After two drinks of mine were stolen, I took action. When I needed to pee, I took a pint glass with me, pissed in it, and then leave it where my drink was just stolen from, the shelf around the dance floor.
If you steal my drink, (which wasn't cheap) you deserve to drink my urine. After all, that is precisely what it would have created. :D
Black Converse basketball ankle boots, black Levi's 501's, and a Harley Davidson leather jacket I'd pay a fortune for today.
It was the softest leather, and from the front, it was the smartest looking bikers jacket. No diamonds on the arms, just smooth.
On the back is where the magic was. It had an eagle shaped layer of leather, which was stuffed with padding, so the eagle was embossed. The tail of the eagle was lower than the back of the jacket, so it curved down over my arse, which became invaluable when riding pillion.
It got stolen at my first Jungle rave, with a weeks wages in the inside pocket! We live and learn... :)

    I just realised.
All participants in the retro photo experiment, are metal heads, with long hair. :)
I couldn't beg for a more natural place for me to be :)

This is me with Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden, who walked my streets.
    I'm on the left.
1989. Back stage at a Black Sabbath gig at the Hammersmith Odeon.

    OMG...

    OMG!!!

Sabbath...in the UK...at the friggin Hammersmith...and hanging with the most awesome set of pipes EVER(Sorry, Rage...I DO like Bruce!!!).

In a Scorpions T-shirt, no less!

I moved here to Tennessee from Florida as a teen, if you don't know, Florida is "Beach/Tropical progressive", and where I'm at in Tennessee, there are still active 'shine stills, lol.

Anyway, long hair, black T's, kinda like you(I was a skater, I was lost here, all gravel roads...), moved up here, and...

Started dating the German Exchange student that had refused to go out with anyone that had asked, lol, somehow I moved "into the backwoods" and still came out more "Worldly" on account.

She loved the Scorpions, was the point. And she was really, really hot, I like to point that out in fond memory as well.

    ;)

Yeah, Man, KISS wound up being "my band", but Maiden was my "first band", rescued me from Michael Jackson and Starship, lol, that pic is the shits Bro!!!

Here is me at 19. On a moment's notice with just about zero planning, a buddy of mine and me took my mom's car from Austin to Nuevo Laredo just so we could legally drink. Fun times.

This is one of two, only pictures of me playing an arcade game. Maybe 1990. Can't even remember what the game was called, I only had two tries. It moved about, a bit.
It was in Funland, (previously Sega World) the top two floors of the Trocadero centre in Piccadilly, London. It was a load of arcade machines and the usual other games, "whack a mole" for example, bumper cars, laser bowling, skeet tables, etc. lt closed down 5 years ago.

Dude, I just re-read your comment, and then realised what you said in better clarity!!
    It IS the ****, lmao!!
Hammersmith Odeon is a freakfest of rock history. All the metal bands wanted to play there, to pay homage to their predecessors. And I was back stage, with Bruce, and Brian May was there too, but never met him, only his partner, an East Enders star, Anita Dobson. The only thing wrong is the T-shirt. It shouldda been Maiden!

I was staying with my employer for the weekend, and he was a popular star himself in the '60's. He was in a band called "The Riot Squad". While I was there, his good friend "COZY POWELL" called him and invited him and guest's for a VIP backstage pass. So, it was him, plus two. I had to borrow that Scorpions T-shirt off him. It was a supreme experience.
What I remember most from the day, was: "**** me, Cozy Powell's head is MASSIVE!! :D
This is the closest I could find. It's the same tour.
Nice one, buddy. Glad you recognised what was right under my nose, and I couldn't sniff it!! Prove's you're a metal WARRIOR !!!! :) Hella yeah !

The Hammersmith is something hardcore metal teens in the 80's even over here coveted as a "Mecca" experience, underground but still the best bands in the World!

I'm OK with the Scorps shirt, but definitely can't beat Maiden T's!!!

I had a demo tape from Sabbath's Dehumanizer, no idea how I got it, no idea how I lost it, but it was pretty awesome!

    Hardcore Maiden Love:

    :)

Lol, we've really ran away with this thread, Pixe-to me, it just shows that we do need some form of forums here-I think some find this "distracting from gaming", and I DO understand that sentiment-but I've had fun with this, enjoyed knowing a little more about each other, etc, so there should be a "side room" for us regulars to just "talk", I think it would be a tighter community.

1995-ish, after two girls went to town on my hair.
Girls used to love to plait my hair. In night clubs, at parties, once on the bus! No lies!! I miss my hair, it was like having a cute puppy!!
