I need help finding the best Android screen recording app (for recording game records)

Hi, Alex here,

It has been a long time since I have submitted a record to Twin Galaxies. I'm thinking of submitting records around when I have breaks in college. However, I'm thinking of beating one record that I haven't beaten for a year...

Yes, I'm thinking of beating the Crossy Road record...

If you think I'm Rudy-ing around (just kidding, sorry to Rudy J. Ferretti), I'm not. This was one of my first world records when I had an iPad Mini (that is now sadly broken), that was also one of my greatest records. I do not have many great records, however, so I'll try to get more in my free time...

Basically, people have gotten up to 1,000 hops more than me, making me 4th on the iOS leaderboard. I also do not have an iPhone or iPad now, so I cannot use Everyplay or my MacBook Pro to record the record...

So, I need your help...

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge now, with Crossy Road and I'm thinking of not just beating the Android world record(s) of Crossy Road, but also the iOS record(s) on Android...

I need some of you guys to recommend me a great screen recording app for Android that you use, with no rooting required and good gaming performance...

I will greatly appreciate it...

Also, with MAME, I will do MAME records soon. Crossy Road will currently be my first priority right now, since after somebody recommends me a screen recording app, I should be good for other Android records too...

Thanks.

Sincerely,
Alex Ashburn AKA Pr3Ci510n

I have a Galaxy class phone so I think I can give some good advice.

The only app I use to record is Mobizen. You may want to tweak the settings before recording, though.

Thanks for recommending me that app. It looks really good...

What settings should I try to tweak?

    Nevermind, it's good.

    Thanks.

Keep in mind you DO NOT need to record your data in HD. That will drain your phone memory and split your video if it gets a certain size.

OK, thank you for clarifying that.

I did an overview of a bunch of the options a while back - https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthre...recording-apps . Mobizen basically is the main choice. ;) I tend to stick with Lolipop Screen Recorder by Rivulus Studios purely because it has an option for portrait/landscape but I also have Mobizen installed.

Don't think setting ios records on an android will happen. You will need an iphone or ipad for them but good luck on your attempts

I understand, I just mean beating the iOS world record on the Android leaderboard (since the Android world record is lower than the iOS world record).

Thank you for recommending Lolipop Screen Recorder, I actually had problems with the landscape orientation. It is now fixed, so thanks for helping.
