And So Our Story Begins
Hi all,
My name is Will Love, aka MexicanBandito5, and I have taken the plunge into the world of setting records. I submitted my first score early this morning and am chomping at the bit to submit more. My goal for this blog is for it to shine light on the ups and downs on this adventure, as well as allow me to interact with my fellow TG members. Enough of the rambling, let's get down to the good stuff!
2015 Goals
Submit 50 scores. (Current progress: 1/50 :RpS_thumbdn:)
Become an active member in this community. (Not really a quantitative goal, but it's still a goal.)

Tonight was a very eventful night in terms of video games. After work, I decided to put in some work on Rock Band for the Xbox 360. There was one song in particular that I had set my sights on (the name of said track will be my little secret until I submit it:RpS_cool:). I tried for about an hour, but would always manage to miss a couple of notes halfway through the song. I decided to take a break from the game and exercise for a little while. After a good workout and a calming shower, I decided to give it another go. I set my phone up, pressed record, and went to work. On what seemed like my 50th try, I managed to make it all the way through the solo without missing a single note. I was too scared to take my eyes off the notes to look at my score, so I just kept playing my heart out. I ended up getting 100% and getting the high score! I threw down my guitar, said some choice celebratory words, and gave my fiance (or fiancee, not quite sure which one is meant for "future wife") the biggest bear hug ever. I even did a couple of victory laps around the house.
This makes my third score to record, and I have to say that I'm hooked. The thrill of setting a personal high score is great, but seeing your name at the top of a leaderboard is so much more fulfilling. I can't wait until I get off work tomorrow night so I can record some more scores.
Stay awesome everybody.
