- 1st September 2010: Guru - I bought a couple of not working Point Blank PCBs with gun boards (that Smitdogg checked and re-dumped some time ago then sent here), which are now repaired and working fine. That should get my buddy at Jomac off my back for a while since they are very popular in arcades still and are often in need of repair.
- 0.138u2: Guru, Smitdogg and The Dumping Union replaced sound data rom for the Point Blank sets that was incorrectly dumped. The new dump has been verified on 3 different PCBs.

- 0.78u5: Phil Stroffolino hooked up a private (placeholder) implementation of zdrawgfx() for C355 sprite rendering, adding sprite-tilemap orthogonality for all games using that chip. This fixes problems with the "save Dr. Dan from the flaming torches" stage. The middle 2/3rds of the playing field block out the sprites.
- 0.70u4: Phil Stroffolino fixes the window registers in Namco NB-1 sprite drawing, this fixes the "Tank" stage of Point Blank.

- 19th February 2011: Smitdogg - I recently bought a wildly rare and expensive game that I've been looking for for years, Point Blank 3. I don't know why this game has been so hard to find, I guess people keep fixing cabs when they breakdown so it never gets parted out. I used to play it at a restaurant in St. Louis and it's quite fun so any rarity isn't due to it being a bad game, as is often the case... It's running on System 10, so it looks like Namco released it on System 11, 12, and then 10. Between this and some stuff I've bought in Japan, I'm in the hole quite a bit and could use some help if anyone can help out with donations. Besides that, we picked up a motherboard for the Sammy medal carts and an floppy disk updater for Offroad Thunder and I've been in touch with a guy in Japan who has undumped Deco Cassettes to lend out but the dumping situation with those is still a mess so we'll see what happens. - 0.186: Moved includes\namcoic.h to machine\. Everyone gets all 4 player inputs. All games (even 2 player games) can test for all 4 player inputs and TEST switch. So for everything except Gun Bullet use the standard Namco System NB-1 inputs [Brian Troha]. Added 'Test switch' dipswitch.
- 0.185: Corrected coin inputs, when set to individual coins slots they were reversed [Brian Troha].
- 0.177: Fixed sound timing for some games. Did some digging into the sound timing issue in certain NB-1 games. It seems like the C75 MCU does not like non-60 hz interrupt intervals, wanting the interrupts to sync with a 120hz internal timer. By moving the interrupt callbacks to separate 60 hz timers (instead of the 59.7 scanline timer), this fixes the sound tempo in nebulray, gslugrsj, gslgr94u, clones and vshoot [Superctr].
- 0.175: Fixed degraded performance speed in machbrkr and outfxies by disabling logerrors. Also added save state support [Osso].
- 0.174: Changed drivers\namcoic.cpp to machine\namcoic.cpp.

Hooked it up for plain System 22 games as well, but they're not interested in passing down proper commands for some reason. Speed-cheated all instances of the M37710/C352 sound system so CPU requirements don't go up much. This also helped back off the requirements a hair for Prop Cycle and Time Crisis. C352 now sets output pitch correctly by input clock. Added M37710 (16128000 Hz) CPU2 and C352 (16128000 Hz) stereo sound.

- 0.87u3: Phil Stroffolino fixed the advanced ROZ chip used by Namco NB2 games. The ROZ fixes unfortunately use a handful of custom code, to work around limitations of tilemap.c's roz support. Added abstraction for the tilemap system used in many Namco titles. Merged memory maps.
- 0.79u1: Big Namco NB1 update [Phil Stroffolino]: Hardware shadow support (used heavily in Greatest Slugger), dedicated random number generator chip, sprite stretch glitch (affects Outfoxies intro), tilemap tile banking feature (used by Mach Breakers), removed several game-specific hacks; now uses dedicated CPU registers for interrupts, preliminary support for screen blanking (hides garbage in Outfoxies), proper POSIRQ handling, for scanline effects. Fixes the water effects in Outfoxies. This same feature needs to be folded into System 2 emulation, but I haven't gotten around to it yet and various Mach Breaker-specific hacks for interpretting the ROZ layer registers; these aren't yet fully understood. In particular, the 'Monster Pull' stage is missing a '3d floor'. Changed 68EC020 CPU1 clock speed to 24.192 MHz and VSync to 59.700001 Hz.

- 29th January 2002: Phil Stroffolino added proper rotation and zooming into the Namco NB-2 driver, making Outfoxies look much better and it is now also playable.
- 19th January 2002: Phil Stroffolino sent in a new version of the Namco NB-2 driver, adding preliminary graphics emulation. However, it is nowhere near perfect, there is no sound and controls are not yet working due to an unemulated MCU.
- 14th November 2001: Phil Stroffolino sent in a Namco NB-2 driver with support for Outfoxies but it isn't much to look at since the graphics ROMs aren't dumped.
