King of the Kill [Most Kills - All Weapons - Solo]

Rules
Goal is to WIN with the MOST KILLS on a regular play solo server.

The final official count is the total kill number shown when final kill statistics dialog box is displayed.
No exceptions.

Complete recording of video performance is REQUIRED as part of evidence submission.

Special note:
This game is a MMO which means it is client/server based. Therefore a PC boot up or program launch sequence is not required as part of video evidence as it is not possible for the client side player to alter the remote company game server that is being logged into.

Use of a "cheat" program that might be loaded to gain player advantage on the client side which tries to present the client player with more visual information than they would normally receive from the game, or alter client side transmission data to the server for more favorable results is BANNED AND ANY SUBMITTER FOUND TO BE DOING THIS TYPE OF ACTIVITY WILL BE BANNED!

For instance:
Use of an "ESP" program that allows the client player to "see" the locations of other players, when they should not be able to.
Use of an "Auto-Aim" program that automatically detects opponents critical areas and guarantees that every bullet fired hits those targets.
Use of a "clipping" program that allows a player to move through walls or teleport themselves across the map instantaneously where it should not be possible.
Etc.

These kinds of cheat enhancements are easily seen and detected by watching a video performance. They are in fact, quite obvious.

Finally, for H1Z1, a King of the Kill game officially starts when the parachute sequence begins.

All kills look clean, including this last one:-

But this recording ended before the final calculations were displayed. According to the rules, it's incomplete. Is this tolerable, or are adjudicators rejecting this sort of submission?

Take that as you will folks, but the rules are pretty clear that the final kill count has to come from the final box which is not displayed.

Since no one has cited an example of an accepted submission based on an incomplete recording, I am going to assume that none exist. And, since it surely can't be that much trouble to keep recording until the final kill count is confirmed on screen, I am taking the hard line. The rules are there to be read, and followed.

Bummer. Good run, but gotta vote NO based on insufficient video evidence of the final kill tallies. You're not the only one getting burned by this rule.

Special Note to Twin Galaxy Members This Is From another Similar H1Z1 Video Game Submission:

As Twin Galaxies itself cannot vote on any submission, we have been asked to provide some perspective on this submission.

The rules are in place for a reason. There are no exceptions.

H1Z1: King of the Kill suffers from rampant online cheating. This is precisely why the internal leaderboards of the game can not be used as a source of accurate and verified measurement. Daybreak is unable to verify its incoming player data.

In this particular case where an incomplete video has been submitted, it is critical that no exception is made. Complete performances are required. Everyone is subject to the same rules and everyone is measured fairly and consistently.

Here is just one of the reasons for stringent adherence to the rules:

When a submitter presents an incomplete video and claims that it was unintentional that they ended their recording before the final screen appeared - and then goes on to discuss/show their standings Daybreak's internal leaderboard as proof that they have accomplished the kill count claimed many times previously and that the logical conclusion should be that clearly the current submission must be valid based on this evidence - they are asking the adjudicators to ignore the possibility of manipulation.

In the above scenario, it is also possible that all of the high kill count wins inside Daybreak's leaderboard are the result of manipulation (use of cheat enhancements) and once an end screen is achieved and shown in the game the manipulation becomes apparent, therefore the submitter can not provide a complete recording sequence.

In such a circumstance, Daybreak's leaderboard would certainly show many high kill wins, but the submitter would never be able to pass Twin Galaxies adjudication for verification of the accomplishment.

There is no way to eliminate this one particular possibility of potential manipulation without having a complete performance to examine.

Now, under no circumstances is it currently suggested that the submitter is confirmed or implied to be cheating - however, this is Twin Galaxies and we must do everything we can within reason to screen, verify and authenticate all of our incoming records and data - and all of our data must be screened consistently and objectively as possible.

This is odd, because normally, rules only govern gameplay, and verification methods are at adjudicators discretion. Here though, the verification method itself is written into the rules. If the verification method stated "direct capture not allowed, you must use a 1980s video camera pointed at the screen to record" then so be it. It doesnt matter that the veriification method makes little sense, the track creator put it into the rule set and it has to be followed. Yes, technically we have the ability to break those rules, but not the right. Not to mention, it sets a dangerous precedent when adjudicators start deciding for themselves when rules do and dont matter -- even in cases like this where the rule sure seems clearly obsolete to everyone.
