- 12th December 2012: Mr. Do - So right after I finished GNG, for some reason I decided to go back and look at Super Pac-Man. And... O M G... there were so many things wrong with it... just click here to see. Sad thing is, even the official repro that is sold today has some of these mistakes. At least it'll be right when you play it in MAME. And since I was at it, I had good photos of the cabaret version, so I added that one in also.
- 0.133u1: Brian Troha added DIP locations to Super Pac-Man. Renamed (superpcm) to (superpacm).
- 11th March 2007: Mr. Do - Super Pac-Man has a new shiny and more accurate hi-res bezel, thanks to a new scan.
- 26th August 2006: Mr. Do - Added Super Pac-Man bezel from MAME.net and Mean Arena. Some of these decent stuff are so-so; some are REALLY good.
- 12th July 2004: 3D ARCADE - New 3D cabinet model for Super Pac-Man from Pariah.
- 0.84: Pierpaolo Prazzoli fixed Super Pacman dipswitches (Rack Test, Service Mode and Speedup Cheat).

- 0.27: Aaron Giles did a major rewrite of the Super Pac-Man driver: Hiscore save in all games, 100% colors and sound samples (in Super Pac man the siren clicks a bit, but neither Mirko Buffoni nor jrok can figure it out; the sample data *is* correct), better sound playback frequency (was missing some high bits!), arcade accurate frequency calculation (thanks to jrok!), removed all palette hacks - everything is clean, added loop optimizations for speed, video now properly displayed and including high priority characters.
- 0.26a: Super Pac Man has correct pitch now (thanks Aaron and Satoh). Also, SuperPac has speed cheat control again.
- 0.26: Aaron Giles added sound support to Super Pac Man. Added SPC-3.1K rom (for the second CPU). Changed description to 'Super Pac-Man'.
- 0.24: Changed description to 'Super Pac Man'.
- 0.21: Added 'Super Pacman' (Midway 1982). Thanks to Dark Schneider (DS wanted to be anonymous, so I'll call him this way) that provided 6809 support and the first driver working on this CPU: Super Pac Man. The driver is based on the super-detailed SUPERPAC.KEG file of Replay emulator by Kevin Brisley. Thanks to everyone. Control: Arrows = Move around and CTRL = Speed. Known issues: Large sprites in main sprite RAM (0x0810) do not work right. This affects the intermissions. Adding credits does not work right. Some colors are almost right but still off (i.e., orange is too light in the logo). Bonus star is blue (should be yellow?). GAME OVER is white (should be red?). Can't enter initials at high score screen. Sound CPU is not emulated. High score saving not implemented.

- Phozon: There appear to be two palette banks (sprites are the same, but characters change from a blue background to brown background). It is not known if and when the alternate palette should be used. The palette select bit might be at address 500E/500F; if that's the case, it is set to 0 on startup and I don't think it's ever set to 1 - which would mean the second bank is not used and colors are right as they are.
- Phozon: One unknown PROM, I don't know what it could be.

Updated pacman, mappy, toypop and several other drivers to use the new functions.
- 0.115u4: Aaron Giles removed colortables from a number of drivers that didn't need them. Also converted pacman and mappy drivers to collapse the colortable and palette. Changed VSync to 60.606061 Hz and palettesize to 512 colors.
- 0.93: Added clock parameter to Namco 15XX sound (24000 Hz).
- 0.87: 8-way input fix for some Mappy games (grobda, motos, phozon). These games were set to 4-way input in the previous update.
- 0.85: Pierpaolo Prazzoli fixed crasher in the new Mappy dipswitches.
- 0.84u6: Aaron Giles added support for conditional dipswitch settings. This allows for multiple equivalent entries but with different text depending on the state of another dipswitch. See mappy.c for an example of how this works to handle the changing bonuses based on the number of lives.
- 0.78u4: Nicola Salmoria merged grobda.c, phozon.c and superpac.c with mappy.c. Removed machine\grobda.c, machine\mappy.c, machine\phozon.c, machine\superpac.c, vidhrdw\grobda.c, vidhrdw\phozon.c and vidhrdw\superpac.c. Fixed and verified inputs and dipswitches for all games. Found and documented the Easter eggs in all games except Toy Pop. Fixed interrupt and sub cpu reset handling, which caused some games to report errors when entering test mode without resetting. Added detailed memory maps where schematics allowed. All drivers converted to tilemaps. Cocktail mode in Phozon, and non-hack implementation in Gaplus. Fixed priorities in superpac. With the previos code, ghost eyes had priority over everything else, even other sprites, giving wrong results when two ghosts overlapped. Round advance dipswitch in Gaplus available & working. Fixed a missing sound effect in Phozon that nobody would have ever noticed. Implements the 56XX and 58XX I/O custom chips (machine\namcoio.c) used by all the games. The I/O chips are now accurately simulated, fixing subtle nuances during normal operation and not-so-subtle ones in test mode; e.g. you can now scroll the grid in Mappy's test mode.
- 0.61: Changed M6809 CPU1/2 clock speeds to 1536000 Hz.
