How to play 2 players on MAME online?

I am wanting to play and set a record here at TG on a game on co-op mode (2-player team) on MAME. The only thing is that the second player lives in another country than I do. Is there anyway that we can both connect to the same game somehow online and record this record?

I know that other such emulators have this ability. For example ZSNES (super nintendo emulator) allows this. This allows you to player 2 player games with other people from all over the world.

My question is, is there any version of MAME which has this feature?

AFAIK you can play online using MAME hub but no feature exists to record an INP simultaneously with another player.
