I know that right now, I am unable to suggest new games, variations or rulesets due to me not having enough submission points, but I was hoping that someone could let me know what kinds of games are accepted to the scoreboard rankings, so that I may plan a potential record run in the future.

There are no specific barriers in place. Common sense & decency should play a part but there's already plenty of "fluff" tracks (non-serious) and some adult tracks too. If you outline a specific game (or genre if you prefer) then we can probably point you to other similar games and also throw some ideas into the mix - but I'm sure you've already got them. :)
