For my run, I had a kinda worn out stock 5200 controller, and literally held it upside down, making a circle with the joystick on my upturned palm, not side-to side movement.

While there may be room for a debate about if this should be considered original hardware or not, given the disaster that are the 5200 controllers, I'd NEVER require someone to destroy a working one just to play a game like this.
