I have successfully crossed the 100 million point finish line.
To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the official production date for Robotron: 2084, which was June 1st, I wanted to play the game as it was originally played in the arcades 35 years ago to the day by utilizing the original (and buggy) yellow ROMS, which of course has the dreaded enforcer crash bug and no lives counter. I managed to thankfully not crash the machine, and I did roll my lives once at around the 49 million point mark as well. Fortunately it only happened once.
It took me a total of 20 hours, 26 minutes and 52 seconds to hit 100 million.
I kept playing until I started to regain lives again. My final score was 101,250,000 points.
I have uploaded the video in three parts to YouTube if anyone would like to watch the whole thing.

Hi Mark @1500points,
I think David is the only person to date who has qualified for the Robotron 35th Anniversary Gauntlet Challenge ... to reach 100 million points and in the fastest time. Could you please provide an update if this is correct and if anyone else is planning an attempt in the near future.
I edited a short video to show the moment I rolled my lives back to zero and recovered at 49 million points, and the moment I hit the Goldilocks Zone up until I started gaining lives again. I figured that these moments were probably the most interesting of the otherwise boring marathon to most folks anyway.
