Rules	TGTS Settings [3 Lives to Start, 5 Lives Maximum] Special Rules: Timer starts the instant you hit the Start button and stops the INSTANT you touch the golden axe in the final castle. Time will be recorded in WHOLE seconds ONLY. Use of the Wall-Jump tactic is NOT allowed! You MUST access the Underwater area of 8-4 by using the pipe across the lava pit. Doubling back and using the pipe before the pit to do so will equal Disqualification. Use of ANY Pipe to go somewhere different then the programmers intended is BANNED! You MUST complete the game or your record/attempt WILL be disqualified! [Wall-Jumping is defined as jumping against a wall [or pipe] in such a manner that a pixel or two of Mario is stuck in the wall [or Pipe] and is able to use that to jump again, far higher then can be done normally. Further definition; Mario cannot be made to jump off of a surface that is 90 degrees perpindicular to the ground. Please note this can be further used to also go through solid objects not normally passable as is disallowed.] [The Alternative Pipe usage refers to, for example, going through a lone brick while crouched to go through the wall and access World -1, whereas the pipes would normally be Warp Pipes to Worlds 2-4 Respectively. The doubling back on World 8-4 to get to the underwater area is another example]

SIMPLE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS


Welcome to Twin Galaxies! For over 30 years, Twin Galaxies has been recognized as THE world's premiere electronic games referee, having judged contests and high scores submitted by console gamers, arcades and PC gamers worldwide!




IN ORDER TO SUBMIT A SCORE TO TWIN GALAXIES, YOU MUST:

Verify your ACCOUNT.
Have three (3) SUBMISSION POINTS
To see how many submission points you have, you must log in to your Twin Galaxies account and click your username in the upper-right corner of the website. You will see an indicator that looks like this:






Every VERIFIED member receives ONE (1) free submission opportunity to begin with. To earn more submission points, you must participate in the Twin Galaxies community process and correctly ADJUDICATE other people's score submissions! VERIFIED users are users that have gone through the Twin Galaxies' user verification process, and TG maintains contact information on each user. These users are real people, who have voluntarily submitted their identity and personal information to be able to be eligible to be awarded world records and other forms of public recognition for achievement.No new world records will ever be allowed into the TG database without full name and proper contact information. TG needs to know who its participating users are, and the participating users themselves need to know that they are competing with other real and serious participants. All user information is kept private and confidential in accordance with our Terms of Service.


WHEN A VERIFIED USER SUBMITS A SCORE, THEY ARE PRESENTED WITH A FORM TO FILL OUT. THIS FORM SPECIFIES:

Most of these fields are self explanatory and were common to the previous Twin Galaxies referee-based adjudication process, however the Evidence Description and "Video Upload" fields are new and will be explained below. Historically, Twin Galaxies would adjudicate a score by having a person watch a score performance in person live or by having a person review a recording of a score performance. These methods are very effective, however they also severely limited the scope of score performance presentation. In an effort to accommodate the widest number of methods of score performance presentation, the TGSAP has moved to a format that allows user submission of all forms of evidence with score claim, whatever that may be, with TG simply providing very strong recommended guidelines for submission in general.
The "Evidence Description" field is the part of the submission form where you are given an opportunity to explain any details of your achievement that you feel supports your score claim. This field is driven by a fully functional WYSIWYG text editor that is also equipped to allow you to upload pictures, screenshots, and supporting documents. This is an opportunity to build your case of evidence, head off any skepticism, provide insight or simply brag about what you have accomplished. This is the opportunity to provide as much context as you feel you need to help make sure that anyone judging your claim is as informed as possible.
The "Video Upload" field is where you upload any recorded performance video that you may have of your score performance. This video is part of your overall "evidence package.” Once all of your evidence is entered and uploaded, you will click the SUBMIT button and then the adjudication process begins!

i'm actually suprised you were allowed to submit without direct upload i thought the system had protections in place to catch that on submission and warn you then. When you submitted there was a tab for upload

the good news is its not to late. near your original post there should be an "addditional evidence" button you can use this button to upload video and it'll appear in the first comment easily for others to see as if you uplodaded it from the beginning.

Adding on, to help your submission I'd recommend adding pics of your console and cartridge.

Okay, I will have to do that then. Unfortunately I am nowhere near my console or pc at the moment, but I will upload the video and photosnext Thursday.

My trouble was being in a different country to the video file and console. Just got home now and will upload now.
