11-year-old Lower Makefield
Does this mean TG is dropping the 13-year old limit?Quote:
He’s the youngest player who holds a record.
Is that 13 year-old rule still in place. Anybody know?
Zach Kaczor. That does come up with his score. 11-years old.
Listed as a 'novelty' game. What is that?

As for the being under 13... The FAQ still lists 13 as the minimum:

Our only requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to submit scores to Twin Galaxies.
I'll bring this up to Dave when I get the chance to. For the time being, the 13 year age limit should still be in effect.
From what I understand, due to COPA laws, anyone under 13 cannot submit. However, their parents can submit for them after a number of legal issues are resolved, things signed, etc.
That's just a rough understanding on things as I helped research some of the paperwork they had to sign. Someone with better understanding than me would have to comment further.
That's correct I believe, but I still also believe that tg says no one under 13 even after doing that.
Just re-read & caught this bit:
Only because he's too young to submit under all public guidelines!Quote:

Also the following paragraph stuck out for me this time:
Oops, the marketing/security ploy on the scoreboard failed!Quote:
Zach officially broke the record on July 30 with 350,000 points, which is 179,340 more points than “Greg,” who set the record with 170,660 points on June 7, 1984. Twin Galaxies International keeps official gaming records and only describes people by first names.
