Quick question: was this video playback sped up or something? I've been playing 2048 for years, and the perceived reaction times to new tiles (randomly assigned a value of 2 or 4) appearing is literally instantaneous. Just curious.
No, it is not sped up. Basically the strategy is to build up from largest block down to smallest in order, so especially to begin I'm just swiping it into one corner building up the large square. Later on a 2 or 4 won't go into a, let's say 64 (which is blocked into place because I won't swipe in one of the four directions (up)) so down and left is inconsequential. Eventually, when I get into a pickle I slow down.Quote:
