I've asked this in a thread for an earlier submission of the Arcade track (sub+comments have been removed due to the this sub with higher score i guess?).

The rules are different for the Arcade track vs. the MAME track, which seems to be a bit weird (see attached pdf for visual explanation).
For most other games, if not all, the rules for a MAME track follows the Arcade track (or vice versa), as far as I can tell.

Does anyone know why this is not the case for Bomb Jack?

I'm personally really curious about this because I have played the game somewhat a lot lately on both MAME and Arcade with both settings tested on both platforms to see how I perform.

Only TG knows why this is. It's a mystery to me.
I learned to play on Euro settings, Medium, medium, easy, then TG made me learn Hard, Medium, easy, and arcade is harder than that.
This brings the arcade record into confusion, as to get 20 million on arcade settings seems impossible, unless his game lasted 20 hours, and used the "running scared" principle.
