You may freely use the game internal Saved Game progress (but Not an Saved State). Pick the Championship Mode and go through this Circuit mode only. You don't have to beat all four boxers but if you win the Championship and get you final results then that is it for the run and you can not move on to the other circuits. Special Rules: Pausing for ANY reason, accident or not, will result in an instant Disqualification of your attempt, no exceptions.
