I sent 20.02 for the fastest lap on F-zero. What did you send? Did you have anything better than your 20.04? Or anyone else for that matter?

i was wondering why your score has not been posted yet... hopefully no one else sent in anything besides you, at least we both end up with something. :) ... hopefully....
Who did you send yours to? I sent mine to Robert.
oh, no wonder it is taking kinda long. i sent mine to tom vatova.
I was just being a stickler for the rules. One of the rules for the bounties was that they were suppossed to go to Robert first. Maybe I read it wrong. I'm gonna go check.
yeah, i think it stated that, and a tape i sent to Tom was verified that i didn't do well on which was the bounty. i asked him about it and he said that robert told him he could verify the f-zero bounties for him.
Hey there guys. Perhaps that the prize money for video games would be easier if Walter talked to the 3rd party video game makers like Capcom, Konami, Nintendo and so on to get sponsorship/bounty money.
The only problem with this, is that I don't think that these companies are fans of MAME.

You're right, but if those companies were approached to offer a top score prize for their new games, maybe. The problem today is that any company could do their own competition in house via the internet, so no reason to consider TG.
Exactly, and konami and nintendo has even gone further by directly programming into the games special time attack modes with passcodes revealed when you complete the run, however those are subject to cheating through gameshark and such.
Places like twin galaxies and SDA at least use a video verification rather than a password. The question is, would TG be able to handle every single player trying to win?
