It's a shame mr-me provided a photo only. Even so, that time would certainly be #1 on the emulation track. I dont think he uses orig hw for any of his submissions at AtariAge (at least I didnt see any).

On AtariAge, all we require is a photo of your time or score. It's all for fun anyway, and not official like this site. Mr_me is a great Intellivision player and talented at a lot of games, but he didn't have any interest in videoing any of his games and posting here on TG...we brought it up to him though! I suspect there are lot of people out there that are great at Inty games, but don't make the effort to record anything.Quote:

That's why we 'bother' here at TG; with such strict rules etc...
Anyone can just list their high scores or say "I can beat that". Or grab a screenshot somewhere. And what if a TG player can beat his record back after that player beats it !
But at TG, we want their 'claimed' scores in our database in order to be "official scores". Or at least from an equally-as-strict database (of which I don't know any).
It's also a lot tougher to start the recorder and perform on-demand for a sub for TG. Plus the no-pausing rule which is critical on many games!
Nothing you guys don't already know! - That's why you guys joined !
I guess I'm just sharing why "I" joined TG. I'm putting my scores in the database ... on display ... for anyone to come and contest. I have my rep on the line! instead of holding out saying "I can beat those scores".
