Rules: No power ups can be used for your attempt.
What power ups are these? Rules should give some examples, as players can confuse this with special skills that most birds have. Haven't played this game in like 8+ years.

Im no expert at this game either, thats for sure. Never even played it. However, based on the thosand or so Angry Birds subs Ive adjudicated, Im pretty certain that the inherent characteristics (i.e. the blue bird splitting into 3, etc) are not considered "power ups". I believe the "power ups" that are prohibited are the ones where the player has to tap the power up icons on the upper left of the screen to activate. A good sign that they have done so is when you see the power up selected being featured quite prominently, superimposed on the entire middle of the display for at least a couple of seconds.
Hope that helps ;-)
Yeah, I posted in another submission about Shockwave being one of these power ups. Think the rules should clarify this a bit, so new players trying to submit their scores do not get confused what is what.

The rules were written before the Shockwave bird was added to the game & have been subsequently amended (as seen here). However, the other special bird (I forget its name) is also a special & is also banned because it did not exist at the time of the rules being written (and therefore could not catered for).
Rovio have definitely stopped any fancy changes to Angry Birds, so perhaps it's time to revisit the rules for a final time. The problem with re-writing rules is: TG policy is to never change the rules (only clarify) & so getting the clarifying rules written so they do not change any historical attempt (including failed attempts) is no small feat.
So it should be OK. Voting yes.
