Here's a Strange-Saturday Question

What if I want to add a new track but I don't want to be listed as a founder if the proposed track is accepted?

Why would you not want to be listed as a founder?

I can sorta understand-very, very out there analogy, but to have the high score on a track you created could, to some, seem like having the best character in a Dungeons and Dragons group-when you happen to be the Dungeonmaster.

Not at all saying I agree or disagree with this sentiment, but could explain the hesitation to create the track.

To answer the both of you and to anyone else wondering. I can say I can be weird like that at times. In some places I like to leave a footprint and in others I'd rather tread carefully wanting to not be noticed. Probably in this case cause I have no control over a track if it's bad and I can't delete it.

plenty of people do want credit, float the idea of the track you want, and if its a good idea someone will love to found it themselves and take the credit you dont want

So I guess there's no way not to be listed unless I share my idea and have someone else found it. Okay best place to ask for someone to propose a new track for me? Another wall entry? Also, is the top 2 sponsors who donate are also listed as founders rule still in effect?

    Just pitch your idea here.

idk about this top two sponsor thing you are mentioning. I've seen tracks with at least 3 founders before.. maybe even, 4 but I may have imagined that.

At the top of the page - Click Info - Help And Tutorials - then on the next page click How can I add a new game or game variation to the database? tab. Then scroll down to the big number 1 in a blue circle.
Or just read along here: "When a track receives all its needed donations, the TOP 2 sponsors who donated the most submission points to the proposed track will be awarded the honorary title of FOUNDER and their names will appear in the database next to the accepted track. The original user who proposed the track will always receive the award of founder if the track is accepted."

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I left another comment after the quote. Strange that it's not showing up. In the last comment I asked for what tracks I wanted to see on the site. Well I have gotten over this part of weirdness from me and will propose the tracks myself. A thanks in advance to anyone who maybe had planned to help me in this regard. Last question though, I am going to add tracks for games that are not even on the site. Should I be checking this checkbox? - "I am a track founder and I would like to add derivative tracks under my established tracks at no submission point cost"

no, the box is to let you add on to tracks you already made. For example, something like angry birds. You can create a master track with the general rules. after you make that master track, you can then use that check box for "deriviative" track for each level. Deriviate tracks dont let you add rules, you only specify title (which includes level) and it inherits rules from the master track
