The end of an era has finally arrived. Most or all R Us stores whether Toys or Babies R Us locations have closed their doors for the last time tonight here in the U.S. Despite focusing mostly on toys at Toys R Us they still played their part in videogaming's uprising as seen here -

The biggest toy store and its ever iconic Geoffrey Giraffe mascot along with their company jingle shall be greatly missed.

    Was many years ago, but I remember the closest R'Us to me had a TG-16 and a Jaguar on the shelf for what seemed like five years longer than they should have been being sold, ha.
    Missed an opportunity there...

    I bought my first Atari 5200 at a Toys R' Us in the 80s. Returned a broken one for an new one 6 months later. I tried to return the 2nd broken one another 4-6 months later but without success.
