Intentional use of the "play action glitch" is not allowed. This can take place when you bring an extra defender to the line to blitz the quarterback on a play action play, causing the running back to go in to block instead of being in place for the fake handoff. This can cause the quarterback to run backward until tackled or he goes out of bounds. Circumstantial instances of the glitch coming into play will undergo further referee discussion.
