  6. Quiet !!

    Hi Robert;

    My own recent 336K came after many, many attempts. I hit the 280-300K range at least six times the night before hitting 336K, and a few times before that, before I abandoned every attempt to get the bonus objects...they were causing more than 90% of my life losses up to that point.

    I wish I was better at the bonus rounds...I probably lost a good 75-100K in bonuses through round 32 which I reached, averaging only 10K per wave including bonus rounds. I'll be happy this tourney with a 350K+ score but would ideally like to hit 400K or more. At least there is still three weeks remaining.

    I am just starting to play this game.

    it has been years since I played it...relearning from scratch almost....got t relearn these bonus rounds. hehe

    keyboard/mouse might not work well enough for this one....which is what I have been using for all the games.

    got to find my PSX style joystick and see if that allows smoother control of the ship.

    Keyboard works incredibly well for this game...... far less instances of going the exact opposite direction to the intended direction, particularly when you get in the habit of always pressing 2 direction keys at once to force the game to go the way you really want it to go.

    Cheers,
    BeeJay.

    Hi Rick:

    I've been of the opinion that ever since I was able to handle \"Scramble\" and \"Super Cobra\" with a keyboard that most titles should be okay, save those with dual joysticks (Robotron, Smash TV, Crazy Climber) and multi-buttons (Defender, STargate)
