Congratulations goes to Valter Treib who literally came out of nowhere and took the lead and ran hard with it! Very nicely done! Valter ran hard witha final score of 815.92 points!
Congratulations also goes out to Chris Bolding who put up some other seriously impressive numbers [Ladybug anyone? Cheeky Mouse!?] and came in 2nd place with an overall of 678.06 points.
I would also be remiss to not congratulate Brandon LeCroy who came in a very tightly run 3rd place with an overall run of 668.72 points.
And finally, but not least, I would like to thank EVERYONE who participated in this years Deca and made it work out so well. I've recieved a LOT of positive feedback about the style change and I am quite greatful for it! I have 2 more ideas I am hoping to run.. one of which will hopefully go on after my tenure.. and definitely feel confident in them working out. :) This 1 month format proved to make a very tight and unpredictable race and made things totally fun!
And special thanks to Tim Stodden and Russ Archey whom have so kindly assisted me with a scoreboard and verification duties!
Now... as you know, the new site has gone live! Interesting things happening in the 1 week I end up being forced to disappear due to work [15hr days at work do not make TG posts terribly possible] Anyways, once the dust settles on the site, we will be going to enter EVERY score from this Deca into the database. It will take a bit, but it will be done! :)
Thank you everyone once more for making this years competition work so well!
Mr. Kelly R. Flewin
