RetroDuo: Legit for NES/SNES submissions?

    Nintendo's patent on their NES and SNES systems ran out in 2005, so apparently these knock-off combos are legal to play the carts on.

    Q: Are RetroDuos allowed for use in score submissions? If so, this would open up new opportunities. If not...oh well. Seems like a good way to keep playing those old Nintendo system carts.

    Unfortuanatly they are not allowed. I think they have minor differences in timing, just like how the super gameboy player can't be used for ceartin submissions.
    Conan So your from Boston and i know your a big redsox fan, after they won in 2004 are you one of those people now who is just content, don't need to see it again?
