Interesting product. After reading about the details of it, you can "burn" existing carts into it, not download ROMS into it. correct?

I'd vote "No", as the C64 images are being tampered with (split and compressed).

Based the EasySplit intended use it is only so that it reduces the number of disks required to transfer the CRT image into the device itself. The transfer pieces the parts back together into the Flash Cart. http://skoe.de/easyflash/doku.php?id=splitfiles "The resulting files have added .01, .02, … -suffix. Load the .01 file in EasyProg just like a plain .crt file. EasyProg will ask for the subsequent files automatically."

Besides which, any tampering of the CRT could be done long before it gets to the Easy utils.
Lots of 1sts to be surpassed: what are you waiting for? Play the game, submit the score...

Nice. I should have read into it further. Thanks for clearing this up, Pete.

Yes, you will "burn" the rom in any slot (1 - 8) and use it. After and if necessary you can "erase" and "burn" again if necessary.

Fred: the true test of whether it will be accepted is through submitting a score. It looks like there will be yes votes for the use however.. :)
