    Rules
3 Lives to Start and a Bonus Life at 10,000
Special Rules: Players MAY leech, but be forewarned, it won't last for long. This is being allowed because soon enough the AI gets INCREDIBLY Smart and the bullets resemble a machine gun spray making it EXTREMELY difficult to advance. This is especially true on later levels where the enemies start out smarter off the bat and their shooting speed increases big time!
Entering the bottom elevator without entering all the red doors returns the gamer to an earlier point in the level and avoids the enemy speed-up. Since it's possible to do this by accident and in later levels it becomes a necessary tactic at times, we are capping the number of times a person can do this to two per level.

I know the rules say "players MAY leech", but does anyone feel this is a bit much?
  3. 02-21-2015, 07:19 PM
That rule was implemented as at the time, leeching was considered finite. Now that Rudy has discovered an exploit that makes it infinite, that rule is moot IMO
It is no longer "extremely difficult to advance"

What is that box thing that you are putting over the camera? Does it even help the quality of the video?

Barra is right, Rudy did exploit the leeching, but it follows the rules.
After a while, the game breaks after a certain amount of shots are fired. Rudy explains this in the video. I saw most of this live.

It may follow the rules, but ask yourself -- what are the intent of the rules? Do you believe this follows the intent of the rules?

The current high score is at 101,300 by Brian Picchi who must have used the same technique Rudy did with the leeching, but not as exploited as Rudy.

Rudy explains what is going on.

I'm no expert on this game, but the gameplay is legit and the rules are followed.

I only post Rudy's video because we need Rudy's response on his score to defend his score.
