    it is uncomfortable -- but don't confuse that with unresponsive. Yes, it kinda hurts the tips of the fingers, but it also does exactly what you tell it to. I plan on submitting a few other odyssey 2 scores, I'm pretty impressed with how good the system is for its age

    I've had to give my hands a rest from the joystick because there are some sharp edges which start blisters. However, the responsive is great: there's notches in the plastic for each of the 8 ways so it is impossible to get mid-way between the two directions. However, this does play against some games, mind you, in that subtle changes of direction are not possible as the stick has to leave one notch (toward the middle) in order to gain entry to the next direction: still smooth game reaction to the change but it isn't a circle around the edge.

    William, the same pattern for configuration 3 applies here. I remember doing in quadrant order top-left, top-right, bottom-right then bottom-left.
