I was lucky I figured it out. I was just doing some thinking about the game and thought about how long it takes to climb up and down compared to sideways, and that's when I came up with the idea to try to clean one side kinda like Donkey Kong rivets. Seeing those screen shots of 1170 and 1160 gave me the incentive to figure it out the rest of the way. Getting to the 1160 mark took some time though after discovering the new pattern. You have to be so much more percise than the 1200 time pattern. Got 1190 the first time doing the pattern right and after every few games I went down another 10 and then another 10 to get to 1170. 1160 to about 15-20 games going into the second screen with the correct time.

Not the funnest game, not even a very good game but the challenge to get the lowest time and it being such a quick game made it a fun and rewarding challenge.

It's always satisfying when you try something different and it works out!

    is 1150 possible?.

Just gave it a go on the emulator.. Got 1170!

Is it not quicker to do the left-side first or does the enemy movement make that too difficult?

Anyway, accepted & expect to see a Rudy submission spewing "enough" soon. ;)
I'd rather be last on every game than throw my time away chasing only one score.
