I was curious and concerned about the score continuation mode. If we need to do this to reclarify the rules for Millipede then I'm fine if it needs to be rejected on that basis. Now, rules never said that I had to always start at zero (in fact there are no rules stipulated), so that last game started me off at 60K but I wanted to be sure if this was OK or not.

I guess the situation comes down to explicit vs. implied rules. IMO continuations are not allowed unless explicitly stated in the rules. This also touches upon the idea of a set of general/global rules that can be superceded by game specific rules.

I'm only one voice so let's hear what others have to say. I abstain from voting until a clear consensus is reached.

    Even I'm abstaining.
I have no problem doing this again at zero but it needs to be made clear from a plebiscite or consensus.
My only intent is to be straightforward and give assurance I'm not trying to pull a fast one over other players.

Probably not this game but many games can get the player to a point in the game where there is a big bonus & thus the player could be said (of Arcade nature) to have bought the score instead of shown skill in the achievement. Unless explicitly stated in the rules TG has the implied set of rules that scores begin at zero with no continues to avoid this possibility.

Good way to show the need for discussion. :)
I'd rather be last on every game than throw my time away chasing only one score.

Rejecting. If you are not starting at zero, it's not valid. I can't think of a time where continues would be allowed.

    Ok I'm calling it in.
Requesting rejection of this submission. I do want it to go on record to any other submissions regarding games where starting scoring level is selectable (like Tempest), all games must start at Level 1 and Score 0. I'm sure that's always the case but I want to make the unofficial be "official". Not thrilled with the lack of rules being written here.
