114,000 Points - Every Treasure - On my first Man .....
A PERFECT PITFALL
First Perfect Pitfall documented on the Intellivision Console. I did it in December/2016 but by accident I deleted the tape off my DVD Recorder.
Notes for those of you who don't know the scoring system:
David Crane programmed this game to take EXACTLY 20 MINUTES to collect every treasure. In order to beat the clock, you need to take calculated risks or you will run out of time.
On the Intellivision Console, there are no skill/speed options. The default setting is "Hardest" level.
You must collect all 114,000 points from every treasure in under 20:00 minutes.
You lose your man if you fall into a tar-pit or walk into the alligator's mouth.
You lose 100 points if you fall down a hole and you lose hundreds of points for touching a rolling log. If you nip a rolling log, you will lose about 15 points.
A perfect Pitfall means you collected every treasure, for 114,000 points, you never nipped a rolling log and never fell down a hole. You get three men in this game. If you do all that on your first man, it's called a PERFECT PITFALL.
