    MGL 32 - Game 1 ~ Space Invaders Part II



    ROM WolfMAME 0.106: InvadPt2 (Taito)

    Game Story:
    Move your laser base left or right along the bottom of the screen and shoot the endless waves of aliens descending towards you. Their relentless march quickens as fewer and fewer aliens remain. The best defense is a good offense. Your only protection is four stationary shields which slowly get blown away by both you and the invaders. Besides aliens, you can also target the occasional flying saucer which traverses the top of the screen.

    Score Submissions:
    Please make a new post for each score you post, with your score as the first line of your post, along with a screen shot showing your score and initials. This game finishes Sunday 18 June 2017, 5am EDT.

    Please make sure your settings are as above. No continues are allowed when submitting a score and must be played from the beginning of the game. No pausing. No cheats allowed.

    Games can be played at the arcade. You must ensure the arcade operator has the game at the MGL game settings for the submission to be valid.

    Do you mean that playing on the actual arcade machine the fire button is much better? Or say Hori or Seimitsu are better than Sanwa?

    Also are you recording your games in WolfMAME? I would suggest recording your games as well so that you can submit your inp file with the highest score to TG for verification after Game 1 is closed.

    Arcade definitely cause of the deeper plunger. Currently using Sanwa convex shaped buttons, very short action but little feel, great for fighters and shmups but less ideal for precision shooters.

    Not yet, I only just download MAME last night to start playing this game, don't know how to record on it yet.
