    Dispute Evidence / Rationale
Just in case, the link to the submission thread: https://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/151910

I see I'm the first to submit the first TGSAP based dispute. Now, in keeping with my own preference to have this new phenomenon not get out of hand, I'm limiting myself to no more than two disputes a week, regardless of how many I may want to make. That said, this submission from late January 2016, is invalid in that the submitter completes level 79 around the 1:56:10 mark of the video, but loses his run on level 80. The track title states Most Levels Completed. Big thanks to the observance of Barthax and nads for pointing this out in the submission thread, as that's what led me to ultimately vote No (Reject)! Thanks in advance to all who give this thread its undivided attention! -Duc

I'm voting yes the score is invalid. The track says level completed, not level reached. Level 79 was the last level completed.

In a case like this, where we have the evidence of the correct score, cannot TG just change the score on the leader board from 80 to 79? I don't feel that Ryan intended to deceive, its just a mix up with the wording of the rules. It would be silly to make him resubmit this right?

I feel he should still have to incur the penalty of additional submission points just as he would if it was a simple cancel & resubmit.
TG just fixing anything would introduce too much ambiguity into the process.

Vote reversals will be needed too along with cred adjustments. I'm sure TG will comment on this at some point. TG has said in the past they can't manually add or subtract points to an account. If a dispute is removed, presumably it will need to run through some sort of system similar to initial adjudications.

Agree that the score is invalid for the reasons stated above, and that even though this is a simple mix-up, it should be subjected to the same penalty as any other cancelled submission.

probably not. more than the scoreboard was hurt by an incorrect submission. people who voted correctly had their credbilty dinged and they deserve the reversal to get their cred back. You submitting a better and accurate score fixes the scoreboard but it doesnt help the people who lost cred. It does mean though the score gets overwritten so you wont have an asterix near your score.

Unless something has changed, the new submission will replace the lower score currently listed on the leader board. The dispute is still valid and there is a matter of credibility redistribution. It will be interesting to see how the system reacts to having a dispute go through when the score is no longer on the scoreboard. Good way to stress the system to see if there is any unintended consequences.

It is obvious that level 79 was the highest level completed. The rules mention completed levels, not the highest level reached.

Thanks everyone, this dispute is accepted.
