    WIP:

    - 0.186: Changed includes\dooyong.h to video\dooyong.h.

    - 0.184: Fixed regression (spriteram8 -> spriteram16) [Osso].

    - 0.177: Make Dooyong tilemap generator into a device, move a whole lot of stuff from video start to machine config. Converted rshark/superx ROM-based tilemaps to device as well and removed all the trampolines. Clean up, encapsulate stuff, use derived machine configs and better represent the 16-bit text layer block on 8-bit machines [Vas Crabb].

    - 0.169: Make both halves of the banked palette available for use. Added vblank read, allows palette to animate. Use darker palette bank as the primary one, this seems to be where the correct colours get set. Removed not needed ROM_RELOADS in the Dooyong banking [David Haywood].

    - 0.164: Fixed screen slightly offset left when flipped in gulfstrm, lastday and clones [Osso].

    - 0.156: Untangle the three basic dooyong board types [Vas Crabb]. Internal tilemap documentation update and Dooyong driver tilemap cleanups [Alex Jackson].

    - 0.142u3: Angelo Salese removed deprecat.h dependancy and updated irqs accordingly for Dooyong driver.

    - 0.131u1: MooglyGuy merged memory maps in the Dooyong driver.

    - 0.128u3: Added includes\dooyong.h.

    - 0.127: Guy Hufkens added DIP locations to Dooyong driver. Changed 'Unknown' dipswitches to 'Unused'.

    - 0.116u2: Cleaned up the Dooyong driver [Vas Crabb]: Consolidated and streamlined tilemap callbacks. Took better advantage of MAME's tilemap caching by building larger tilemaps so they don't need to be invalidated as often. Interpreted sprite Y position as signed 9-bit value in rshark/superx (fixes some glitches). Added more explanatory comments to help others reading the code.

    - 0.115u4: Vas Crabb refactored the Dooyong video hardware to take advantage of tilemaps. Also included priority fixes.

    - 0.112: Vas Crabb updated the Dooyong driver to use the new-style banking system. Also added some preliminary save state support.

    - 0.108u2: Aaron Giles removed VIDEO_BUFFERS_SPRITERAM flag from the Dooyong driver, which crashed all games.

    - 0.99u2: Pierpaolo Prazzoli added some disable registers for tilemaps/sprites (fixing the bug in The Last Day demo).

    - 0.96u1: Sonikos cleaned up the Dooyong driver.

    - 0.37b6: Added dooyong.c driver and vidhrdw\dooyong.c.

Note - Allow Continue DIP incorrectly set to "Yes", although no continues were used.

Derek - this has happened on several of your submissions recently...you're opening yourself up for people to challenge these scores as, technically speaking, the settings are incorrect. I think most people let this slide when no continues are used, but if it's ever brought up in the dispute system, TG could take a black-and-white view and remove the score as it's clear it doesn't match the rule set.

yeah I've typically not been messing with dips, just leaving them
on default. I'll try to remember to flip it in the future but it really seems like splitting hairs IMO.
    Cheers 🍻
