This is not my claim, this is John McAllisters.
I am simply supporting the claim, just like others have.

The manufacturer (Activision) has nothing to do with this. It has been a TG standard from the beginning of time that flipping the A/B switches during gameplay is a "no-no".

If you want to call that a "glitch", then be my guest.
Because as far as I am concerned, the only "glitch" out there, is when referees were enabled to self-verify/enter their own scores into the database.
Ok. I am agreeing with you. I hope Twin Galaxies will as well.

I'm not touching the dragster thread with a 10-foot pole. This, on the other hand, has compelling evidence to warrant a YES from me.

I wonder how acceptable it was back in the day to find ways to improve your runs. Like putting tape on the tv for Barnstorming or even what my brother does and has a crosshair taped on the middle if the tv screen for no scope sniping on CoD.

This is added to our to-do list. Thanks for bringing it up.

A gamer may not even be aware that a dispute has started. For now, tagging the player as you did here, is a great way to insure that the player knows about the dispute and can provide evidence if they wish.

How long will this dispute be sitting here ?

How many "Yes" votes does it take for a dispute to go to Dave's "Final Decision"?
    @Dave Hawksett @Jace Hall

Just for reference, since this is a new process.... I think we're all wondering.

    Thanks.

Not saying anything .... just listing some of mine and Todd's favorite games:

    Beamrider
    Happy Trails
    Lock 'N Chase
    River Raid
    Stampede

Some of mine and Ron's favorite games:

    Ladybug
    Mousetrap
    Tron Deadly Discs
    River Raid

Apologies for these general questions on Todd's Skiing dispute, but since this is a new process, I think we're all wondering:

Why does a "YES" vote from the community go to @Dave Hawksett for the final decision whether to remove a score?

Doesn't that make the voting a moot point?

Why not just send all score disputes to Dave directly?

I think the community is wondering.

    Thanks.

Is that the way it's going to work though? If we vote that yes it's a valid dispute and it's then passed on to Hawksett is a new track going to be created? Also, where do we draw the line on a dispute like this as far as creating a new track to accommodate it? Or should it just be wiped?

That's for TG to decide but if others are able to validate the possibility then we shouldn't be discarding history just because of some rules wording/understanding in the modern era.
Lots of 1sts to be surpassed: what are you waiting for? Play the game, submit the score...

If @toddrogers gets to keep this time, then I've effortlessly set a new World Record on Game 1B:

When was is acceptable to switch A/B during the run to better your time?

I was gaming in 1980. I don't think anyone that I knew would think that would be acceptable.
