The manufacturer (Activision) has nothing to do with this. It has been a TG standard from the beginning of time that flipping the A/B switches during gameplay is a "no-no".

If you want to call that a "glitch", then be my guest.
Because as far as I am concerned, the only "glitch" out there, is when referees were enabled to self-verify/enter their own scores into the database.

I'm not touching the dragster thread with a 10-foot pole. This, on the other hand, has compelling evidence to warrant a YES from me.

I wonder how acceptable it was back in the day to find ways to improve your runs. Like putting tape on the tv for Barnstorming or even what my brother does and has a crosshair taped on the middle if the tv screen for no scope sniping on CoD.

This is added to our to-do list. Thanks for bringing it up.

Why does a "YES" vote from the community go to @Dave Hawksett for the final decision whether to remove a score?

Doesn't that make the voting a moot point?

Why not just send all score disputes to Dave directly?

That's for TG to decide but if others are able to validate the possibility then we shouldn't be discarding history just because of some rules wording/understanding in the modern era.

I was gaming in 1980. I don't think anyone that I knew would think that would be acceptable.
