Yes, it certainly is, or at least it should be.

By the time a decision point was reached, the score had been surpassed and the issue fixed. This one is being rejected.

Thanks for all the input here. The other track issues brought up here will be dealt with separately.

    Hey Dave,

Your reply was posted just over a month ago, yet no discernible administrative action has been taken. The original submission (with an incorrect score) remains in the Accepted archive. It has NOT been transferred to the Rejected archive, where it clearly belongs.

Is there some issue, real or imagined, that has kept this dispute open for 49 days?

Please elaborate on your most recent statements.

    What's the deal?

This one has taken a while as I explored all the alternatives. We rejected this dispute initially because the score was no longer visible once enough votes had accrued. The alternatives I looked at included ways of not having a CR hit on this one. We have now discussed this internally and yesterday came to a conclusion.

Preventing any CR loss by keeping this open has the effect of punishing those who voted no on the score submission. This is unfair on those members so we are finally removing this score. We cannot manually adjust CR.

That it has been overwritten already is not enough to prevent this as the overwritten score is still on our database, even though it is invisible. If we allow the scoreboards to display a player’s older surpassed scores, for historical context, this score would be visible again.

Typos made decades ago are one issue the dispute system is gradually solving. Typos made in modern submissions, which are not spotted by adjudicators, will lead to problems in the future.

Thanks for everyone’s patience while I looked at alternatives, but we have agreed internally to remove the score based on my reasoning above and all of the discussion preceding it.
